Travel Health and Immunisations

Travel advice and Vaccinations is available at the Practice by appointment.

Your medical record will give us details of your current vaccination status. Please call reception and ask for a current list of your immunisation record and we will print one and send it to you via Royal Mail.

Should you need additional travel vaccines these can be obtained from many providers and a quick internet search should provide you with the nearest one to your location.

Holiday Health

It is always a wise precaution to pack some essential items in case of illness on holiday.  Do choose medicines according to your needs and the country you are intending to visit.  If you take prescription medicines regularly remember to pack them too.

You may want to consider packing the following:

  • Paracetamol, travel sickness tablets, plasters and a small crepe bandage
  • Rehydration solutions such as Dioralyte, antidiarrheal for example Imodium
  • High factor sunscreen
  • Antimalarial tablets, water purification tablets, insect repellent
  • Condoms and other contraceptives
  • Sun Hats for yourself and children
