Hello I am Dr Akbar.

As a newly minted GP, I am dedicated to providing compassionate healthcare to patients of all ages.

I am originally from Kashmir but did all of my training in UK. I love the mix of cases and patients that general practice offers but I have a special interest in dermatology. Driven by a deep commitment to teaching, I love to share knowledge and clinical experience with other healthcare professionals.

With a lifelong love for football, I understand the importance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I spend my spare time watching sports and exercising/running. I also like to watch movies, whenever I get time.

Dr Adegoke qualified in 2010 and holds a Masters degree in Public Health. She had spent her postgraduate years working in Public Health and Psychiatry before her GP training programme in Nottingham. She enjoyed doing rotations in Geriatric Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and A&E.

Dr Adegoke enjoys the wide and varied work in General Practice and has interests in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Dermatology.

Outside of medicine, she loves gardening and cooking.
