Nottinghamshire Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Programme

This very important screening programme is looking to increase awareness and uptake amongst eligible men.

AAA screening can help find an abdominal aortic aneurysm early. This means it can be monitored and treated, if needed, so it’s less likely to burst (rupture), which can be life threatening.

The screening service automatically invite people who are in their 65th year, assigned male at birth and are registered with a GP practice.  Anyone assigned male at birth and registered with a GP, who are older than 65, can request to be screened by contacting the service on the number or email shown.
